A cooperative in drought-prone Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu has shown that growing a forest and rainwater harvesting can be a profitable business and generate livelihood. This is a 250-acres green patch with a number of rainwater harvesting structures spread across the area. Piyush Manush, an environmental activist from Tamil Nadu is the man behind this innovative and enterprising idea.
