CHAROUDA, Chhattisgarh — Meet Bharat Kumar, a young lad from the quiet town of Charouda, Chhattisgarh. This place, unfamiliar to most, is where Bharat’s inspiring story begins.
Bharat comes from a poor family. His father works hard as a security guard at a bank, and his mother runs a small tea stall. Inspite of the challenges, Bharat’s was always determined to excel.
He went to Kendriya Vidyalaya Charouda school. But when he was in the 9th grade, his family couldn’t pay the school fees. Thankfully, the school helped him out by waiving off his fee, recognising his potential.
Inspite of the challenges, Bharat did really well in school and got into IIT Dhanbad. But financial troubles came back. But then the kind businessman Arun Bagh and the Jindal Group from Raipur, stepped in to help him.
Because Bharat worked really hard and didn’t give up, he did amazingly well in college. He even got a gold medal with a super high score of 98% at IIT Dhanbad. His incredible skills caught the attention of Indian Space Research Organisation – ISRO. And guess what? When he was just 23 years old and still in college, he got an opportunity to work on Chandrayaan 3 project with ISRO.
Bharat’s inspiring story reminds the saying, “Raising from the ashes like a phoenix”! He is a living testament to the power of determination and perseverance in the face of adversity.
Let’s all take a moment to think about people like Bharat. They come from humble backgrounds, and they contribute to a new and better India every single day.
