వృక్షహీనమై విధవలా దైన్యంగా విలపిస్తూ,
రాగ ద్వేష హాలాహల జ్వాలల్లో రగులుతూ
వ్యధాభరిత పుడమిని నిస్సహయ స్ధితిలో వీక్షించి
సహానుభూతి వ్యక్తంచుటకొరకేమో
తుంపర్లు తుంపర్లు గా విలపిస్తోంది మేఘం
కామ పిశాచి చేజిక్కి విలవిలలాడుతూ
కొన ఊపిరికై కొట్టమట్టలాడుతున్న
ధరిత్రీ శీలమానదేహాహుతిని
ఆపలేక నిస్సహాయతతోనేమో
తుంపర్లు తుంపర్లు గా విలపిస్తోంది మేఘం
లింగభేధ్య తర్కంతో ఛేదింపబడి
బీదజాంకురాలని కోల్పోయి బంజరుగా మిగిలిన
భ్రూణహీన అవనిమాత ఉదరతాపాన్ని
ఆర్పే వ్యర్ధ ప్రయత్నం తో నేమో
తుంపర్లు తుంపర్లు గా విలపిస్తోంది మేఘం
