Krishna: What makes You Happy?
Kavya: I have been blessed with wonderful people around me. Seeing them happy and healthy makes me happy. Every good thing makes me smile, be it a small butterfly or a big celebration. But a Safe and Healthy world would make me the happiest, even though I become jobless as a doctor!
Krishna: What are your Service Activities so far?
Kavya: Honestly, I haven’t done much service other than donating money and spending time in an orphanage. In 2015 October, I participated in a ‘Hair Donation Drive’ by an NGO called ‘Hair For Hope’, founded by Premi Mathew, and donated my hair for the cancer patients. As cancer patients lose their hair due to the treatments and cannot wear artificial hair, the hair donated would be made into a wig and given to the patients to make them feel confident and normal. I have seen the suffering of my paternal grandmother who lost her life to cancer in July 2015 and that made me decide to donate my hair for this noble cause.
